We have been asked to keep sending a truck down to assist with the wildfire in Meade county Ks. We will be sending 2 more volunteer firefighters from our department down. If you would like to help with donations that would be appreciated. Our guys will be deploying at 4:30 this evening and would get it delivered to the right place! Thanks ALL the firefighters who are working to help contain the fires!! The donations can be dropped off at fire station from 2 -4:30 today

Awesome!!!

The Pawnee County Commissioners recognized Ryan Torres from Pawnee Heights Highschool. Ryan competed in the Kansas Eight Man Football Association (KEMFA) State Powerlifting Meet in which 48 teams participated from all over the State of Kansas. Ryan placed 1st in bench (185) and 1st in Clean (155) and 2nd in Squat (205) placing 1st overall in the 114 lb weight division (545). Thank You Ryan for your hard work and determination in representing Pawnee Heights and Pawnee County. We are proud of you!

The Pawnee County Appraiser’s Office will begin our annual reinspection of real estate properties, this process will continue throughout the summer and into the fall. The Pawnee County Appraiser’s Office is mandated by K.S.A. 79-1476 to re-inspect all real property in Pawnee County every six years. The purpose of this inspection is to verify that our data is current and represents the property accurately.

This year we will be working in the townships of Ash Valley, Lincoln, Orange, Shiley, Valley Center & Walnut (On Map Below).

Pawnee County Appraiser’s Office personnel can be identified by Pawnee County photo identification badges and will be driving a vehicle marked with the Pawnee County logo.

Other routine work will continue throughout Pawnee County, such as reviewing recent sale properties, permits and parcels with new or demolished buildings. Property owners with questions may contact the Pawnee County Appraiser’s Office at 620-285-2915.
