(CSP) was formed to support and connect parents and caregivers raising a child with special needs. CSP strives to share information and tips about successful parenting. CSP offers opportunities that would give a child with special needs a chance to experience greater inclusion at school and in the community. We connect parents and caregivers with resources need to help each child meet his/her full

potential and help parents learn the skills needed to become more effective advocates for their child. We also provide respite to caregivers who are continuously in the throes of caring for a child with special needs.

Today marks my 14th year being part of CSP Summer Camp, and it’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me.

Over the years, I’ve watched campers grow in confidence, build friendships, learn new skills, and accomplish things many people never thought possible. I’ve seen families find support, encouragement, and a community that truly understands their journey.

What started as a dream has become a place where campers belong, are celebrated for who they are, and have opportunities to shine. Every summer brings new memories, new challenges, and countless reasons to be grateful.

As we prepare to welcome campers for another amazing summer, my heart is full. I am incredibly thankful for the families who trust us, the staff and volunteers who pour their hearts into this program, and the community that continues to support our mission.

Fourteen years later, I still get excited on the night before camp starts.

Here’s to another summer of laughter, friendships, growth, and unforgettable memories.

Look out! Our Summer Connections Day Camp is coming in hot tomorrow (6/1) at our new location! 660 Collage Street in Royston, GA! We can't wait to see you at 8:30 am! Bright and Early!
