The Royse City Police Association competed against the Royse City Fire Fighters Association in a bowling tournament, and without any surprises, PD came out victorious! Officer McKinney, Officer Clark, Officer Miegel, and Detective Mason did an outstanding job representing the Police Department and bringing home the win. This tournament helped the Royse City Rotary raise over $8,000 for scholarships benefiting local students.

Royse City Police Association

To the Citizens of Royse City, Police Administration, and City Council Members:

The Royse City Police Association stands firmly in support of the Officer’s actions that took place at the Creekside Community Pool on August 3rd 2026. Irresponsible and reckless rhetoric from political activists attacking law enforcement has real and dangerous consequences for our Officers on the street. When Officers are vilified, demonized, or used as political props, it fuels hostility, emboldens bad actors, and puts lives directly at risk. While we support the right to free speech, we cannot stand back and allow the truth to be twisted and inaccuracies to be used as continued rhetoric against police. The majority of the statements circulating the news and social media on this incident are not accurate. We implore you, as members of this great community, to wait for the full investigation to be complete before casting judgement.

We respectfully express our strong disagreement and frustration with the charges being dropped (pending further investigation) against the suspects who were arrested in this incident. However, we are hopeful these charges and more will be reinstated once a full investigation is complete. We remain committed in ensuring that the Officers involved receive fair treatment in this investigation.
