Can’t say enough about our staff at Camp Clearfork! This photo is a portion of us who were able to attend the planning sessions a few weeks back. We must plan everything from games, registration, room assignments, waivers, safety, shirts, group photo, equipment trailer, cobbler, smoker readiness, rides, ride leaders, rock painting, first aid, food, ranger engagement, agenda documents, and much much more!

Special thanks goes to Katherine Bullock Burch in the kitchen! She puts in countless hours for planning, shopping, and preparing meals for everyone at the camp. This selfless act means little sleep and almost no time for her to relax and enjoy the camp.

This group photo is from our Saturday morning group ride on the Womble. We brought this ride back as a memorial for Richard White, who was a ride leader and planner for our Clearfork rides every year.

Family rides were shared in another thread, so please check it for Saturday and Sunday rides.

On Saturday morning, Vic Dean will lead a memorial DROP ride on the Womble to the scenic lookout ledge. This was a ride that Richard White has led for many years at Camp Clearfork, so we wanted to bring it back this year.

This ride is out and back on a one-way trail, so effectively we sweep on the return to the parking lot. The lead out drive from Camp Clearfork will happen at about 9am Saturday. Suggest bringing some snacks, fully charged cell phone, and a trail app like Trailforks.

This will be more difficult than LOViT, but you can turn around at any point and return to your car.

Getting excited! Camp Clearfork is only 1 week away. Weather is looking fantastic so far, with highs around 80.

Now is the time for bike tune-up, new tires, adding sealant, new brakes, etc...

You will be in the woods and grass all weekend long, so odds are good for ticks. Please inspect yourself and family every day. We recommend using something like Sawyer Permethrin spray that is carried at most all Walmart's. Spray it on all of your clothes, hats, shoes, chair, and biking stuff this weekend. You can even wash your clothes after it dries.

Are you ready? Registration for DORBA's Camp Clearfork Mountain Bike Festival for 2026 will open this coming Monday, March 30th, at 9am!

This amazing event is always over Memorial weekend, which this year is May 22nd-25th.

One low registration fee includes your cabin or tent spot, 6 hot meals, games, activities, t-shirt, and more!

We have organized rides, but there is so much more to do in the area if that is not for everyone in your family.

Enjoy three days and nights of beautiful mountain bike trails, great food, fun games, swimming, fishing, hiking, plus make new friends and maybe catch up with old ones!
