VUM’s priority to help our Venezuelan brothers and sisters is intended for a quick and effective response. Therefore, we have already delivered 59 boxes of donations in 7 shipments over 4 weeks. It is important to emphasize that we could not have achieved all of this without the support of Latinx, the nuns of Adrián, CarGurus, Brava Empanadas, the San Andrés School of Evangelization, Mortimer Family Doctors in Grand Blanc, Papelon Arepa Bar, our volunteers, and other generous businesses that continue to trust in us. We are also grateful to all those individuals and families who entrusted their donations to us by bringing them to our VUM Collection Centers located in Waterford, Macomb, Troy, Rochester, Royal Oak, Dearborn, Ann Arbor, and Taylor. Special thanks to everyone who helped us sort, list the contents, pack, weigh, and ultimately, to everyone who made this meticulous process a reality, once again for the purpose of providing humanitarian aid. We continue to lovingly serve Venezuela and support all those who are in need. A huge thank you to Friends of the Children of Venezuela, our partner organization and also a non-profit, as they continue to raise a massive amount of donations. Friends is the organization we have worked tirelessly with (literally), and to whom we have sent all these boxes to their centers (and to GEM’s) in Florida. La prioridad de VUM ha sido ayudar a nuestros hermanos venezolanos de una manera rápida y efectiva. Por ello ya llevamos 58 cajas con donativos por un total de 6 envíos en 4 semanas. Es importante recalcar que no hubiésemos logrado todo esto sin el apoyo de Latinx, las monjitas de Adrián, CarGurus , Brava Empanadas, Escuela De Evangelización San Andrés, Mortimer Family Doctors en Grand Blanc, voluntarios y otras generosas empresas que continúan confiando en nosotros. También estamos agradecidos por todas aquellas personas y familias quienes confiaron sus donaciones llevándolas a nuestros Centros de Acopio VUM ubicados aún en Waterford, Macomb, Troy, Rochester, Royal Oak, Dearborn, Ann Arbor y Taylor. En especial a todas las personas quienes nos ayudaron a clasificar, a enumerar el contenido, a empacar, a pesar, y en fin, a quienes lograron hacer de este meticuloso proceso, uno ratificarte con fines, una vez más, de Ayuda Humanitaria. Thank you everyone. Today, and after days of volunteering, we have been able to classify, pack and send thru UPS your donations. Many friends and institutions were able to collaborate. The boxes are going to be received next week in Friends of the children of Venezuela in Florida: nonprofit to nonprofit, Michigan to Florida, and it’s thank to you!
