Local business owners beware. There is a scam going around where a person claiming to be from DTE and saying that if you do not immediately pay $500 that DTE will shut down your power within 1 hour. The phone number it comes from is an 877 area code so I recommend calling DTE if you are concerned but do NOT give the person any information.
