Our Story
The Open Hands Garden’s provides fresh produce to Open Hands Food Panty clients. The Open Hands Food Pantry is the largest in Oakland County and fed 14,000 people last year. Each year the garden provides 300 - 400 lbs. of fresh produce to Open Hands clients.
The Open Hands Garden is in its 4th year and is currently exploring ways to extend its growing season to ensure our clients receive fresh healthy produce for as much of the year as possible.
