State Convention Day 3:

The Ag Sales Team (Ashley, Cariella, Brody & Aurora) went and sold welders along with equipment and gear on Saturday morning. 🏷️👩🏻‍💼🧑🏽‍🏭

The F.A.R.M for Kids team (Chloe, Kylee, Lathon, Luciana) presented about their activities with RRE and RIS students earlier in the year and ended up placing 8th out of 32 teams. 🍎🥔🌸🖍️

Jack Gilbert is the state winner for his Oil Crop Production Proficiency award for his work in mint oil production. 🥇

Aurora, Brody and Jack earned their Washington State FFA Degrees. 🌟

Chloe Andersen beautifully sung the National Anthem at Session 4. 🦅

In between all of this, students attended various workshops, the ag expo, and checked out the WSU campus.

Overall, a great week with Royal FFA Members! 💙💛

State Convention Day 2!

BBQ Competition today!
While this isn’t an official CDE, the contest provided great opportunities to learn about food safety in preparation, meat cookery, and working with a team.
The results were pretty sweet, spicy & smoky.

The Conduct of Chapter Meetings team competed today.
This leadership development event challenges a team of six first-year members to perform the official FFA opening ceremonies, run an efficient chapter meeting, and engage in a group discussion.

Finally, the Ag Sales team completed their test today and are “selling” tomorrow morning!

Stay tuned for the third, and final, day of convention! Students will earn their State Degrees and Proficiency Awards, sing for FFA Talent, compete in F.A.R.M. for Kids, and compete in Ag Sales.

State Convention Day One! ✨🔹⭐️

The Milk Quality team completed their competition. Results will be shared soon - this team worked hard and put in great effort again today. In this CDE, students complete a milk marketing test, quality milk production test, CMT scoring, off flavors in milk and scoring, dairy food and milk fat content identification, cheese and cheese matrix identification and a problem solving test. 🧀🥛
We celebrated with some ice cream from the famous Ferdinand’s. 🍦

Chloe Andersen completed her audition for FFA Talent and will be singing the National Anthem on Saturday during our evening session! 😁🎤🎶

The Conduct of Chapter Meetings team completed their test and will continue to compete tomorrow. 📘🗣️

Tomorrow we compete in the BBQ contest, Conduct of Chapter Meetings, Ag Sales Test.

We have a variety of pepper, cucumber, herb, tomato and tomatillo starts, some great fillers for your containers, and a small selection of cut flowers left.
