Stay safe this weekend

Hi there Chinook Pass & Nile!

It’s hot.

It will be hotter.

Let’s talk water safety.

LOTS of families and fun are seeking water to cool off in.

We have already had at least one water rescue up here.

We have already had a drowning up here.

Someone else watched a couple of young girls jump into the fish ladders up the Little Naches, and while everyone was ok, it was close.

A toddler in Yakima sadly was caught by the River and drowned.

River waters are running high, and are faster than they look.

The Lakes are COLD.

Practice water safety.

Don’t just jump in.

Wear Life Jackets.

BE SMART.

The waters can be and ARE dangerous.

PLEASE be careful. We like having you around.
