TACC / The American City Coalition

TACC is a Roxbury-based nonprofit founded in 1994.

We tackle community-identified barriers through research, policy, and economic and workforce development strategies that expand pathways to meaningful opportunities in communities of color. The American City Coalition (TACC) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization grounded in inclusive, comprehensive, and collaborative approach to neighborhood revitalization. The emergent strategy that TACC adheres

to has Roxbury as a focus area and where, working with the community TACC identifies and develops programming and projects that respond to the neighborhood’s assets and needs. TACC seeks to increase collective impact by aligning the skills of partners within defined program areas and identifying and engaging complementary partnerships and resources.

⛵🔬 Thank you to everyone who joined us for Sailing + Science on June 6! 💙

TACC is incredibly grateful to everyone who showed up and our amazing programming partners who came together on the Charles River to make this day such a success! 🙌
The Charles River Esplanade was the perfect place for on-the-water and on-land activities. Together, we had an unforgettable day:

⛵ Sailing and kayaking with Community Boating
🔬Using microscopes to examine river water up close with BioBus
🎟️ Visiting the Museum of Science
🦅 Birding with Brookline Bird Club
🤝 Building career connections with Roxbury Worx
🛶 Exploring the Esplanade through a navigation quest with Nativagation Games
🍦💙 Enjoying ice cream, burritos, and community connections

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to our New Year's Eve Ice Sculpture Stroll! You made the day a very special and happy one for all of us and we cannot wait to see everyone again very soon.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended our 4th Annual Roxbury Worx Conference.
