What's the strategy for buying the rocks? If you're worried about a mandated assessment, don't be. There's no intention for assessments to increase dues for Roxborough Park Foundation residents. SOR and The Roxborough Conservancy are taking steps to initiate a capital campaign.

We've taken the first steps toward our mission of permanently preserving The Homestead by forming a 501c(3), the Roxborough Conservancy. This nonprofit will raise money to purchase the land for placement into a conservation easement. More details are coming soon.

Is residential development better if the threat of commercial development goes away? The Roxborough Water and Sanitation District has confirmed the current water taps could support 30-45 condos and apartments on both sides of the Homestead as interested Residential Developers are considering this option for a positive ROI should rezoning not be approved for commercial.

Did you know that The National Landmark Program recognizes our State Park next door, Roxborough Park, as a nationally significant example of the Nation's natural heritage? Our Red Rocks on the Homestead property we seek to preserve are the same historical landmark Fountain Formation red rocks that are an extension of our neighbor Roxborough State Park.

This survey has been crafted by Pomeroy Lodging, with the help of The Pachner Group (Public Affairs Company), to only provide research outcomes that benefit Pomeroy, the pending buyer of the Homestead 35 acers of land in the middle of Arrowhead Golf Course that we are working to put into a Conservation Easement.

If you oppose the proposed commercial spa in the middle of Arrowhead Golf Course and the Roxborough Park residential neighborhood, which will increase traffic and impact emergency evacuation, animals, etc., please send your letters to each of the Douglas County Commissioners by tomorrow, Monday, December 19 at 5pm. Folks, this is important, please make an effort to carve out some time to give your personal feedback as to why you oppose.
