Our Student Ambassadors are striving to be 1% better every day with a different challenge every month. August's challenge was to thank a teacher after class and teachers were able to nominate ambassadors who went above and beyond to show gratitude, kindness, and respect.

August's Ambassadors are Anniston Denny, Macy Shotwell, and Emilee Gardner! Congratulations ladies!

Honorable mentions were Margaret Bailey, Braylee Barker, Khloe Denny, Madison Jones, Tucker Lewis, Isley Lewis, Talley Roberts, and Avery Whitfield.

We are so proud of these students and how they are continuing to become 1% better every day. They are great examples of what it means to represent RCS!

Last Thursday, August 27, our seniors had a jeans day and collected 59 books to donate to the RCS library. Way to go, Class of 2027!

If your coming to our 20th Year Celebration, you can park in the front and/or back parking lot! If you park in the front, you will have to enter through the gym entrance. Those who are handicapped and need an elevator, you can enter in the front door and someone will assist you!
We will open the doors at 12:30 pm and will start our short program at 1 pm in the gym. Then everyone will be free to walk around for the rest of the afternoon! If you can’t make it right at 1, you can show up any time before 3! We hope it will be a fun afternoon!

We are excited to share Roxboro Community School is ranked in the top 9% of High Schools in North Carolina and in the top 1% of Middle Schools in North Carolina according to the latest U.S. News & World Report Rankings for Schools!

It's clear to see we have some of the most amazing teachers, administration, students, parents, board members, and community that help make RCS one of the best schools in the state and the country! Thank you to everyone for your continued hard work and support!

Auditions for this year's musical will be Monday, August 31 and Wednesday, September 2 from 3-6 pm in the MPR! You can only attend one audition date.

Auditions are open to ALL grades!!

Callbacks will be Friday, September 4 from 3-6 pm. Those who are interested in a lead must attend callbacks IF you make the callback list.

If you are planning to audition, you will need to have your vocal range tested after school tomorrow, Friday, or Tuesday. There will be a sign-up sheet posted outside of Ms. Morgan's room to choose a time slot.

Our 20th Year Celebration is just a week away! For those who were wondering, you will be able to explore the halls and history of RCS. We will have pictures from over the years, highlights from our arts departments and athletics, and lots of memorabilia to look through. We will also have an alumni jazz band performing in the MPR with alumni from the Class of 2014 to the Class of 2022! We want this event to be an opportunity to celebrate our past and provide a venue for parents, students, alumni, and community members to meet up and share memories of RCS.
