It was Meet Up for lunch at a local restaurant day! Today they met up at Brookland Eats and we heard lots of great compliments on the food and service! Afterwards - apparently - they burned calories at a playground! Never too Old to Play is our motto!

Big, Big thank you to the employees of the Mayo Station of Duke Energy! They hold fundraisers and use those funds to support local non-profit and civic groups. PCSC received a $1,000 donation from this group! We are very appreciative that they thought of us. Thank you to the employees of the Mayo Station!

September is Fall Prevention and Awareness Month. Here at PCSC we had a special Falls Prevention Bingo, two Falls Education programs as well as great participation in the Step-tember Regional Challenge! We placed 2nd out of the 5 counties with 26 participants! Top “stepper” was Wanda O’Neal with 503,712 steps in 4 weeks! Other top finishers were Linette Ornitto, Sybil Holt, and Deb Seamster! Way to go!

Remember how much fun we had this summer line-dancing with the folks from Fabulous Feet Dance Company?! They are coming back this Friday for a "pop-up" afternoon of dancing. Fun AND great mind and body exercise!
