We're looking for some volunteers for Community Green Fest to help with a few tasks like helping with making milkweed seedballs, assisting in the face painting tent, and helping people know how to sort their recycling, compost and trash. Sign up here:

Shop local!

What's out for the first time tomorrow? Counter clockwise from top left:
Canada anemone
False blue indigo
Purple coneflower
Flax leaved stiff aster
Heart-leaf golden alexanders.
Also out for the first time are:
Tall anemone
Eastern bluestar
Slender mountain mint
Gray birch seedlings
Shrubby St. John's wort - still small and looking a bit annoyed with being in a pot so instead of holding on to these for a few more weeks I figure it's best to get them in the ground where they'll be happy ;)
I counted 67 species for you all this Friday and Saturday! It's gonna be pretty warm but NO STORMS predicted. Although I can't promise no exploding meteors....
