Myranda's Mended Souls Rescue After doing 2 years of independent rescue and helping others I decided it was time to create a non profit rescue so I can help save more lives.

We are a small non profit organization. we only use foster homes for the dogs we rescue. Because we are small, we tend to be invisible when we create fundraisers. We could use new followers and at least 250-300 followers willing to donate just $5 a month for the next 12 months. several ways to donate and there is a way to set up the donation automatically on a few of these options. We will be at the Petsmart in Garland on Sunday, October 25th from 11a-2p for a Meet and Greet Event. Weather permitting we will be out front of the store. If it's raining, we will be using the training room located at the front of the store. This coincides with Petsmart's National Adoption Week as well. Come by and say hi, visit our available pups and maybe find a new forever family member.

**Paulette IS NOT available for adoption at this time. We are hoping to have her at the meet & greet event so our followers can meet her, but that will be dependant on her needs.

These 4 our still our top priority finding their forever homes or new fosters. Their priority is based on their current foster home situations and not behavior issues.
We've had only a handful of inquiries, nothing more. We would love nothing more than to find their forever homes and not bounce them from foster home to foster home and boarding IS NOT an option for several reasons.

Poppi- She is still a puppy at just under a year old. She loves attention and loves to play. She is extremely smart, house and crate trained, fully vetted, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. She weighs around 45lbs and should not get much bigger. She's a compact bully. She loves people of all ages, has been cat tested and does best with calmer dogs.

Tilly- She still a pup, around 6-7 months old. She is still learning. She is crate and house trained. It takes a little bit for her to warm up to new dogs, but she plays well once she gets to know them. She is currently in a foster home with cats and does well. She is fully vetted, microchipped, current on heartworm prevention. She is a shepherd mix and will be a large breed full grown.

Fiona- She just turned a year old in our rescue. She weighs around 45lbs, and we have a DNA test on file for her. We rescued her October of last year and she was estimated to be around 4 months old at the time we rescued her. She is crate and house trained on a schedule. She is fully vetted, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. She LOVES to play and be kept busy. She is dog friendly, people and kid friendly, she would probably do fine with cats as well.

George- We have tried for SEVERAL months to move George from his current foster home to a new one. He is eligible for foster to adopt. ABSOLUTELY NO CATS. There are cats in his current foster home and it's not fair to him or the cats. He DOES NOT like cats. He does fine with the 2 dogs his size in that foster home. He will need a home without young/small children as he does have boundaries that need to be respected. Grabbing at him is one of those boundaries. It does take him a day or so to warm up to his new human, but once he does, you are his buddy for life. He likes being outside and going for walks as well. He is fully vetted, microchipped, current on heartworm prevention and crate and house trained.

Application required whether you are fostering or adopting. And there is adoption fees. All dogs are located in the Dallas area.

We just shared Petfinder posts to the dogs that are our top priority finding them their forever homes, a few require new foster homes as well, but our goal is their forever homes. We ask that you please share them. We are literally sitting in limbo unable to help new dogs until we find a few more foster homes and forever homes for the current dogs.
