Today we welcomed Engine 10-6 to the Rowlesburg VFD station! This 2010 International Engine Tanker was purchased from Command Fire Apparatus in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. 1000 GPM with a 2000 gallon tank.
We are anxious to get it stocked up and on the road soon! Thank you to everyone who supports our department throughout the year! You helped make this truck happen!

Ten days away from our biggest event of the year! We are happy to welcome back Slim’s Backyard BBQ as our food vendor again this year. John & Shari Mauldin and their hard-working crew make sure our Ultimate Bashers don’t go hungry! The best brisket around! We can’t wait to see y’all September 12 for the eleventh annual Ultimate Bash!

The final Rockin on the River concert for 2026 was a blast! Who knew Rowlesburg had so many singers! You guys were fantastic! Then, those singers turned into dancers once Rock City took the stage! Thanks for rockin with us this season! We can’t wait til next summer!

Today is the day. The last Rockin’ on the River of the 2026 summer! Doc Rock kicks off the party at 5:00. Come down to the station and show off that singing voice! You know you want to! From 8-11 we close out the summer with Rock City!
Admission is $10. Concessions will be sold. The show will be inside but bring your canopy if you want to sit outside the garage doors. Grab your lawn chairs, coolers and friends! Let’s rock, Rowlesburg!

It’s going to be a great day for music! Everyone’s favorite karaoke DJ will get the party started at 5:00. Come out and sing with Doc Rock. Then stick around for all your favorite tunes from Rock City! Sure to be a fun night! Admission $10. Bring your lawn chairs, canopy, cooler and friends! See ya Saturday!

A little change of plans for Rockin on the River, but still an evening of music and fun! Our opening band had to cancel but no worries, Doc Rock will be rockin the karaoke tunes from 5-8. We’ll then welcome back Rock City from 8-11. We’ll see y’all next Saturday, August 29. Get ready to rock Rowlesburg!

Cheat River has started to drop. Highest level was about 12.5 feet. Current level as of 9:45 pm is 11.49 ft.
