URGENT:
PHCPA (the org suing City of Industry) is essentially out of funds. They need $6k by the end of the month to keep up their lawsuit against Industry regarding the battery facility (BESS) (if we stop BESS, they can’t build a data center). Otherwise it’s dead in the water and Industry gets what they want.

The Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council board has approved a donation to them, and I’m asking the community to do the same and give what you can.

This is the ONLY legal push we have against Industry. Please give anything you can. I love my home, I love this valley, I know you do too, and together we can fight to keep it safe, clean, and thriving.

Good morning!

My church is having a blood drive and as I am sure you have heard there is a real shortage of blood right now.

I am helping our American Red Cross ambassador to get some new people come and donate.

We could really use your help as we prepare for our upcoming blood drive. There are still open appointment times, and here are three easy ways you can help us meet our goal on Monday, August 3rd, from 12:00-6:00 PM at Christ Lutheran Church Brea in the Gym. It is on Imperial Highway east of Harbor and the cross street is Arovista st.

You can sign-up to give blood by going to redcrossblood.org sponsor code CLCB. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments take priority.

You can also invite a friend, family member or significant other to our drive. Donating blood is always more fun with a friend, so bring one along or in place of your donation.

As more people head out on summer vacation, the need for blood is still in demand.
