Many thanks to Lynda and Doug Putnam for making the Bryan Putnam Memorial Wetlands available to the Upper Scioto Valley Cross Country Team so they could host a cross country invitational in a beautiful setting on a great September afternoon. The meet was held on September 19, 2023.

The USV cross country team had a great day today on our home course at the Bryan Putnam Memorial Wetlands. In the high school race we had Joe Parker winning the race and his teammate Landon Detwiler finishing 3rd. Both of these guys ran a good race on a very hard course.
In the Jr.High race it was a great battle between USV, Hardin Northern, and Kenton. But this time the running RAMS got the VICTORY by 1 point!!! Congrats to Carter Ogelsbee, Julian Bailey, Braiden Zapp, Chris Kerns, Quinn Dyer, Jayse Prater, Miles Joseph, and Tristan Hites.
Those boys ran their guts out to pick up their first meet win. So proud of of them all! Next race is at the Kenton Invitational on Thursday.
