Round Rock, you showed up in whatever way you could, whether that meant arriving early, standing at the podium, sharing information, coordinating behind the scenes, or simply staying informed.

Every form of participation mattered. It was bigger than a single evening. Bigger than a single vote.

Round Rock says… no more data centers!!

If the City proceeds, this will make its NINTH data center… in Round Rock alone. Reports say there’s 300-500 in Texas alone… already!

Is this really necessary, or is more going on behind the scenes?

Thank you to the people and businesses of RR standing up and making their choices known. Tomorrow, we can do the same.

4:30pm meet early at the Library to begin our March, near 5pm we will rally at Prete Plaza, and 6pm the meeting begins.

Bring your friends, let’s fill the building!!

Where: Round Rock Public Library on the 3rd Floor in the Legacy Room

What: Make signs and posters ahead of the City Council meeting. Pick up flyers, postcards, stickers and more to distribute in your community and spread the word!

Art supplies will be provided, come have fun and connect with your neighbors around the data center invasion of Round Rock!

Hey Round Rock, it’s almost time!

Join us February 12th at 6pm (4-5pm to organize and pre-register for speaking) at City Hall and make your voice heard.

Beforehand, find us at on the 8th for an art and sign build! Get together and have fun expressing and making signs/banners for upcoming gatherings and events.

Fact Check ✅

Skybox data centers has hired a PR firm to try to answer the public’s concerns… but they still haven’t provided many great sources. Tomorrow Jan 8th community members will be meeting with them ahead of the official second hearing coming February 12th. Be ready with the facts they can’t deny.

Janurary 8th: community meeting arranged by Skybox. Join or email execs.
February 12th: Second city council hearing for data centers resoning. This is where we need people to show up and fill the room!

Round Rock, we did something the city hasn’t seen like this in years - people showed up!

Over 20 speakers signed up and dozens came in support of Chandler Creek and surrounding community members concern over the newest proposed data center in Round Rock.

From environmental, technical and financial concerns, citizens came out all evening from 6-10pm in order to make their voices heard.

And guess what? We had some success! A second hearing is planned for sometime January. We will keep you posted as soon as we have the date.
