We are starting to write the book “Love Serve Feeding America” so other communities can do what we do! I need testimonials about how loving serving and feeding the community has changed your life, or someone’s life that you know. Feel free to chat with some of our guests too and collect stories that we can share. We want to inspire a lot of people to consider doing what we do because healing hurt hearts especially during troubling times is the basis of what we’re about. If you can write something and send to me at [email protected] by the end of March, I would appreciate it greatly! I’d like your testimony (and possibly but not necessary, a good pic of you serving or eating or fellowshipping) to include in the book. I’d like to have it on Amazon by the end of the year! Thank you! Please don’t be shy about submitting something! If God places a word in your heart, we’d like to hear it!

Thanks to everyone who came out to serve on this beautiful last day of February! We had 41 volunteers and so much food to hand out! Special shout out goes to the Stony Point HS “Pay it forward” club! Also, Happy Birthday to our hard-working, loyal and beautiful, Diana Bishop!! We’re blessed to have her as one of our board members! May this year be your best yet, Diana! 🎂 🎉

We’re here at Hernandez Middle school, ready to serve our Community, with more volunteers than expected!! Come get some hot food to take with you! We plan to serve until 12:30! We’re in the front of the school facing Sunrise!

Hey LSF family! Here’s the plan for our frigidly cold and potentially icy day today!

We are planning to serve a modified, smaller lunch starting at 11:30 am today at Hernandez MS, w/ just a few volunteers on site. We will stop if it starts sleeting or if we run out of food. We only plan to be there until about 12:30, so come earlier than later.

We will post our set up location once we arrive at the school and assess the best place/side to serve. Just look for Chas’ white truck and the trailer (most likely).

We aren’t bringing as much today, but we will be having Southside brisket wraps, sausage wraps and hot dogs served with chips and cookies. No extra sides. Everything will be wrapped up or pre-packaged so you can take it with you.

If you feel in danger when driving, please use extreme caution or stay home. Avoid bridges and overpasses. If anything changes and we are told by txdot that road conditions are becoming dangerous, then our plans may change at any point. Please check here for further updates!
