Our first post 🙌
ℹ️ A tiny bit of information about us 👇
🎓 TLEEM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We're the first and only nonprofit at the moment to advance education in the TLEEM (Technology, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, and Mathematics) field. We want to help individuals develop their skills in the field, because unlike traditional schools and programs, they don't teach us how to follow our passion and provide us help.
👇How to start a chapter (in 3 easy steps!)
👥 1 - Find two or more people interested in the same things as you
✍️ 2 - Design a plan for what you want to do in your chapter
✅ 3 - File form CH-1 available on https://www.tleem.org/chapters
TLEEM started as founder Arjun Sharda had saw that prior to founding TLEEM, there weren't clubs in his school related to his interests of Technology, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and a bit of Engineering. Arjun later added Mathematics as at the time he used to attend PACE math (gifted program, where you learn 8th grade math instead of 7th). So, with a few friends, Arjun started his first chapter at Running Brushy Middle School and filed with the secretary of state on October 29, 2023.
However, in late October-early November 2023, Arjun had to move to Round Rock. However, this didn't stop him. This fueled him, and he and his friends continued the chapter virtually. Arjun also started posting on online forums and got volunteers. Arjun filed with the IRS on November 14, 2023, and TLEEM first got international on November 27, 2023, with a chapter opening in Hyderabad, India.
TLEEM's mission is to help students and individuals develop their skills, so people don't have to face what Arjun faced. Because, when you don't have access to opportunities, you often quit on your dreams. And this happens to multiple talented people. TLEEM is now for students, and adults, whether you want to have a career change, or develop your skills in the TLEEM field, TLEEM is on your side.
