We celebrated the holidays this morning at our President Lisa's House as we do every year with a meeting followed by a Potluck Lunch and White Elephant Gift Exchange.

Charles Clack won the Best Table Topics award, and Our Golden Lady, Lark Doley, was the MVP of the meeting.

We thank everyone for attending, bringing food, and a gift!

For anyone considering membership in Toastmasters, come check us out when we resume meetings in January, our next meeting will be on the 4th, to be followed by our Speech Contest on the 18th, and once you become a member, then YOU will be able to join us at one of the many parties we will have in 2025!

11/03/2024

Our 2025 Club Speech Contest is currently scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2025 during our usual meeting time from 10-Noon.

Our VP of Education is currently looking for role players, especially a Contest Chair and Chief Judge; any fellow Toastmasters who are able to fill supporting roles for our Contest, please reach out to Reed Stoddard to volunteer!

Hello everyone!

Our Hybrid Meeting room WILL be available for us for our November 16th meeting!

This is going to be a BRING-A-FRIEND OPEN HOUSE!

This means that all who attend are asked to bring a person with them who can also benefit from becoming a Toastmaster and who are looking for a club to join!

We would love to add so many more people to our club at this meeting, so come one come all!

Doors will open by 10 AM for meet-and-greet time before our meeting starts at 1015!

See you there!

Hi everyone! Tomorrow is my last performance of Spells, Secrets & History: The World of "To Rescue a Witch" at Bookwoman, 5501 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin at 4pm.

We'll cover a brief history of witches and wise women, behind-the-scenes look at the research behind the novel and end with a mock witch trial. Perfect for teens and adults :)

We celebrated our club's 27th Anniversary of its founding in 1997 with our Annual Potluck Pool Party Meeting at Lisa's House today!

The new slate of officers for the 2024-2025 Toastmasters Year were installed by the new District Director, Yiting Lu, to kick off today's meeting.

We enjoyed a Potluck Lunch and some pool time in her pool after the meeting.

Join our club, and you will be able to join in the fun next year when we turn 28!

Upcoming parties for this year include Halloween and Christmas, so please, join us as a guest to check out what Toastmasters can do for you, and then become a member of our family to join in on the fun!

Wow, Select Distinguished club. 23 members strong, and 7 Distinguished goals achieved so far.

Only 2 more points to go and you will be Presidents Distinguished.

Proud of you all and I miss you.
