Jacqueline’s story

•Jacqueline Ntahonkiriye is a 42 year old woman who grew up surrounded by the love of her parents and siblings

• She married a soldier with whom she shared a deep and sincere love. They dreamed of building a beautiful life together, but tragically he lost his life on the battlefield, leaving her heartbroken..

• Because she was unable to have children, her mother in law gradually turned against her. Believing that she no longer belonged in the family, she treated her with cruelty and did everything she could to drive her a way.

•Despite the pain and rejection she remained strong and carried herself with dignity.

•she joined HOMECARE while she was in a state of depression. Through counseling sessions , she gradually regained her strength, found hope again , and recovered the courage to move forward with her life!

We are able to help widows because of the partnerships we have with people who care.
