Derek's Mission

Derek's Mission Derek's Mission is a non-profit 501 (3) c founded in honor of Sgt. Derek W. Romine. Feed the hungry, clothe the poor, shelter those in need. Isaiah 58:7

Inspired by the life of Derek W. Birthed out of love to honor a life lost by honoring and investing in lives around us. Derek served his country by joiniing the texsas Army National Guard at age 17. Upon graduation from Elgin High School, Derek volunteered to serve a tour of duty in Kubal, AF. During his time of serivce and support of Operation Enduring Freedon, Derek received the Army Commendatio

n medal, participated in over 50 mobile missions and area patrols. Derek’s return home to the states only proved to show that his deployment had deeply impacted his life. He was no longer the boy that left home but was on his journey of becoming the awesome young man God created him to be. His accomplishments and outstanding duty was noted by the 436th Sec 4 Company task
