Polls opened TODAY in the local elections. Our ballot includes mayor, city council, and two propositions.

Turnout in these elections is historically quite low, even though the results directly impact your property taxes, public safety and whether our county remains prosperous and family-friendly.

Cold weather is coming up! Here are a few reminders to care for your home..

Broken pipes are easily avoidable; please ensure that you take adequate steps to prevent pipe damage in the event of a freeze.

Consumer Reports recommends these items as part of freeze protection protocol. This is not an exclusive list; owners should take all measures necessary to ensure pipes are not freeze damaged:

*keep any garage door closed

*open kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors to allow warmer air to circulate around the plumbing

*let cold water drip from a faucet served by exposed pipes [check the drip regularly to ensure it is still dripping]

*keep the thermostat set to the same temperature during day and night

*if you will be away, leave the heat on, set to a temperature no lower than 55 degrees

* Bring your furry friends inside.

It is also recommended that if you will be away, have a friend or neighbor check in on your home frequently especially during freezing weather.

A friendly reminder that your $34 monthly HOA assessment/fee is due on the FIRST of the month. If you pay it after the TENTH of the month, there will be an interest fee applied to your account.

National Night Out 2025 was a huge success with almost 100 people in attendance.
Thank you to Lori and Mark Pierce for annually hosting such a great event for our Oak Creek families!
