Welcome James, Marsha, and Audre to the CKCF family! These three were found by a long time cat lover at a relative’s home in Copperas Cove. Once he saw how sickly the kittens were, he reached out for help. Of course we said yes! The amazing team at Leander took great care of them today, and we’re hopeful they’re on the path to healing. Welcome, little ones!

Meet Jupiter, the first CKCF kitten of 2026! This darling boy came into Leander on death’s death coated in fleas, cold, and low blood sugar. Thanks to the teams’ efforts, Jupiter was able to find stability. Amazing vet tech Sarah offered to foster him and has been working around the clock to ensure he remains in stable condition. Despite his malnutrition and poor condition, Jupiter is an absolute love bug! He’s regaining his appetite and will beg for affection. While this is the beginning of his healing journey, we are hopeful that this sweet boy will continue to grow and thrive thanks to his devoted care team.
