Sweet Huck is exhausted from bringing his cuteness to Firehouse Animal Health Center Leander each day. Maybe you’re ready to be his new employer? Message to find out how to give Huck his final job: heart thief!

Meet the newest member of the CKCF family— HUCKLEBERRY! Huck showed up to Firehouse Animal Health Center Leander as a stray. The Good Samaritan who found him definitely brought him to the right place. Aside from some fleas and being a picky eater, Huck is a strong, friendly boy who will be ready for his forever home in a few weeks. If you’re interested in having this sweet boy join your family, send us a message. Keep up the great work Huck + Firehouse Leander team!

It’s official- you can now find adoptable CKCF kittens on Petfinder ! Because we are a small rescue, we struggle to get the word out about our amazing kittens. With Pet Finder’s help, we hope to get these two homes in no time.

Can you help us spread the word about Marsha + Pringles?

Let’s get these babies homes!

Pringles mustache you a question. Are you ready for love?

Because this boy is!

Thanks to his amazing foster + Firehouse Animal Health Center vet tech Sarah, Pringles is recovering well from calicivirus and will be ready to go home soon! Interested in meeting this mustachioed darling?Comment below ⬇️.

Marsha is just as surprised as we are that she has ZERO interested adopters. Can you help us find her forever person?

07/22/2026

Welcome little Pringles! This darling gentleman was found crying alone in Lampasas. Thankfully a Good Samaritan reached out for help, and now this guy is on the path to good health. Despite having calicivirus, fleas, and some suspicious hairloss, he’s in great spirits. Follow along as he grows big and strong!

Want to help in his healing journey? This guy could use some Royal Canin Mother + Babycat pate since it’s soft enough to not irritate his oral ulcers too much. Check out the Amazon + Chewy wish lists in our bio to send food.

James + Marsha are ready to graduate and join your family! If you’re ready to bring home your new best friend, email us today!

07/03/2026

Marsha + James are growing and healing beautifully and officially looking for their forever homes!

Unfortunately little Audre has suspected sepsis and flea anemia that were too far progressed that meds were unable to work in time.

As hard as losses are, we are grateful that her two buddies at least get a second shot at life.

If you’re ready to bring Marsha or James home, message us!
