Will continue working on cleaning rooms and re-organizing, etc., at the Community Center today. I think today I will concentrate on The Gathering Place! This is the former Home Ec room and is rented out for small parties. If you feel like helping, com one over!! Tuesday, Pat Daggett and I cleaned the Round Lake Theatre room. It's looking good.

Heading down to the Community Center for another day of cleaning! Focus today will be on the Theatre room. And then off to the Historic Principals Office. Feel free to join us!

LIBRARY is done!! Finally got it cleaned up and put back together (except for the storage rooms). We love the new ceiling and lights!! The library will now be open to the community every Thursday (unless I have an emergency) from 2:30 to 7:00pm. And it is always open to Fitness Center members. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks!

We had a very successful sale taking in around $5,500. Thank you once again to everyone that helped prepare for and worked at the sale! Because of the volume we had available, I will continue to sell items at the Community Center, on Facebook Marketplace, and other rummage sales! For now, I am back to regular hours at the Community Center doing spring cleaning inside and out! My hours are Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and every other weekend - this weekend is a work weekend. The Event Center and gymnasium need to be cleaned and prepared for the booked events this spring. The library needs to be cleaned after our construction project and everything reset and decorated, then I can post pictures of our completed project!! The Lifelong Learning Center needs re-organization and cleaning after being used for so long as a prep center for the rummage sale! and MUCH MORE!! If you are willing to help on the days I am there, the doors are unlocked. I will also have notices posted about simple cleaning projects, etc., that if you have an hour to help out, can be done anytime!
AND along with spring comes the cleanup outside the building!! The leaves need to be raked up and disposed of in the front of the building; flower beds and pots need to be prepped and planted; the red accents on the front of the building need to be scraped and repainted; air conditioner covers need to be removed for the summer; etc., Thank you to all who help continue to make our Community Center a useful venue for Round Lake!!

Working on cleaning up the rummage sale!! Will be a long day!

THANK YOU to all those who helped during our rummage sale!! Gene and Nancy Boyer, Davie and Ginger Christensen, Sandy Weets, Sandy Consoer, Wally and Brenda Boyer, Lynn Soulek, Amy Bah, Scott Carlson, July and Rebecca Van Wyhe, Lee and Brodie Habben, and Doug Strandberg for feeding all the workers. We had a great turnout and made in excess of $5,000 thanks to the many wonderful donations we received! These funds were needed to pay several repair bills which cropped up recently and were very welcome! Again, THANK YOU to everyone that worked throughout the prep and the sale. Your contributions were sorely needed and greatly appreciated!!
