nent home or provide permanent residency at Laila’s Legacy. Our organization is working to achieve Healing through Outreach, Partnership, and Education (HOPE). Through our internet presence, adoption flyers, and public events we strive to educate the public about these animals and to prevent other animals becoming another animal in need. We understand our organization can’t save every animal in the world, but we will give the world to every animal that we save. We see each animal as the inherently unique personalities they are and individualize their care to meet their needs. It’s our belief one can not “rescue” our way out through societal issues resulting in animal abuse, neglect, overbreeding, exploitation and abandonment. While we can’t rescue all the animals, we can help others through outreach, partnerships and education with likeminded organizations on behalf of sentient beings. That is the HOPE of Laila’s Legacy: Teaching kindness, compassion and respect of all beings and bringing awareness to the stop the harm that we as humans impose upon their lives.”
