A tragic, but excellent summary of what's been happening so far!

A liquified natural gas processing facility, four natural gas plants, multiple compressor stations and a clutter of pipelines are all now in the works, awaiting approval from state regulators. Can any of it be stopped?

Join us tonight for a community meeting and update on the proposed MEC. We will get a lesson in how to present comments at a public hearing, and discuss transportation options for the upcoming air permitting hearing in Henderson. If you are planning to come, please let us know so that we have enough packets to share. We will have NoMEC lawn signs and merchandise available as well!

After repeatedly telling us that they want to make sure community members can easily comment, the department of air quality just announced that the MEC air permit comment (the last opportunity we will have to publicly comment on the MEC project) will be held **two counties away**. Call and email DAQ today to demand the hearing be moved to Person County!
