St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
A world renown
research hospital located in Memphis, Tennessee widely recognized as "the premiere" Childhood Cancer Research Hospital. Tyler spent over two months at St. as the first of three child patients in a new experimental trial designed, in theory, to suppress Medulloblastoma cancer growth. Unfortunately, the trial failed for Tyler; but the miracle of St. was discovered. Tyler DeMarco Foundation has designated St. as a recipient of funds for targeted research of Medulloblastoma. The only hospital of its kind in Upstate New York serving 25 counties and Western New England. Tyler received all his major surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy treatments at the Children’s Hospital. This has been Tyler’s second home for nearly four years. Due to increased demand for childhood cancer services and lack of space/beds, the Children’s Hospital is often forced to pair pediatric cancer patients "chemo kids" with non-cancer pediatric patients. This pairing creates unnecessary and substantial risks to the pediatric cancer patients. Tyler DeMarco Foundation has designated the Children’s Hospital as a recipient of funds for creating private rooms with specialized room enhancements specific to pediatric cancer patients "chemo kids" treated at the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. How can we say 100% of all your donations and contributions will go to the mission of the foundation? Tyler DeMarco Foundation is solely operated, maintained, managed, and supported, by dedicated and committed volunteers who believe in our Mission and strongly desire to achieve it’s goals. The contributions we receive from our corporate partners and corporate sponsors is fully invested in our Mission. In addition, our board of directors, also committed volunteers, pay yearly dues and fees that help absorb operational expenses allowing your donations to be used for the intended purpose...
