Hoping to see lots of parents at tomorrow night's Community Budget Forum.. Wed. March 7th 6:30 p.m. in the HS LGI. Bradt & Pinewood parents- Your children have the most to gain (or lose) from strong educational/arts/athletic programs & small class sizes. Please show your support and voice your concerns!

Did you know... that one of the four tax scenarios they're considering putting out to a vote would require the elimination of ALL non-mandated programs and shortening of the elementary school day?

Let them know you're willing to fight & vote for a budget that supports strong, vibrant school programs. They are listening...there is strength in numbers!

"The collective WE of the Mohonasen community MUST come together to do what is in the best interest of our students. Tomorrow at 7pm the Mohonasen Budget will be presented. This budget will represent the sacrifice (pay freeze) that all Mohonasen employees are willing to do to preserve programs, services and extracurrilar activities for our students. Come show your support! Teacher/program cuts being proposed to Board this Monday at 7:00 p.m. Let them hear our voices. This is not just about teacher jobs. It's about standing up for the kind of schools we want for our kids. We want MORE for our kids...not less.

I guess we'll have to wait awhile longer to find out how many teachers/staff will be cut next year. Apparently this week's Mohonasen School Board meeting has been postponed until Monday April 11th at 7:00 p.m.
