Cubmaster Alex put some young minds to the test at AG Day in Lea County! He taught third graders all about knife safety, responsible handling, and why knowing how to use a tool safely is just as important as knowing how to use it!

Office Closure Notice

The Conquistador Council office will be closed on Monday, October 12, in observance of Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, October 13.

A wobbly step. A helping hand. A little encouragement from a friend.
What looks like a fun obstacle course is actually a chance to discover courage, build trust, and learn that doing something difficult doesn't have to mean doing it alone.
That's the beauty of Scouting. The kids are having fun, and the life lessons are happening along the way.

Today (Saturday) is the final day of the Eastern New Mexico State Fair, and there's still time to stop by and visit the Conquistador Council Scout booth!

We've had a great time sharing the adventure of Scouting with our community! One of the highlights has been hearing from former Scouts and Scout parents who have stopped by to share their memories, stories, and experiences. It's been wonderful to see how Scouting continues to make an impact long after the adventures are over!
