Somebody somewhere needs to hear this today!
In life we will have disappointments - the house you didn't get, the promotion you didn't get, the job you applied for that you were not offered, etc. It can become a habit to focus so much on the disappointment, that we overlook the victory or in most cases victories that lie behind every disappointment. For example:
1. Didn't get the house, yet you had the $ to attempt to get the house in the first place; you have the physical and financial ability to move; you have choices when it comes to where you want to live; etc
2. No promotion, yet you were offered an interview to promote when many others weren't; you are not letting fear stop you from reaching your goals while many others remain too afraid to try; you have goals or careers objectives while many don't; etc.
3.Didnt get the job, yet you possess the knowledge and skills necessary to apply for a job on your own while many others are lacking in this area; you set a task (job application) then completed it, while many people go through life never or rarely experiencing the fulfillment of completion; you were rejected and it didn't kill you, thus you are gaining resilience while many others fold when rejected; etc. Disappointment will occur we all know this, but today going forward in life, CELEBRATE THE VICTORY or VICTORIES that lie behind the disappointment!

I am a LIFELONG LEARNER! Some lessons I grasp easy and others may take more time, but either way I remain open to learning. We need to normalize reserving the word FRIEND for those who are indeed friends!

We have one life to LIVE!
Sometimes the criticism and negative opinions of others cause us to question where we are in OUR race. Now I am not saying denounce wisdom from others, but definitely DO NOT let those too afraid to even get in the race, determine what position YOU should be in. Keep 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️!

Women know BEST what challenges, struggles, insecurities, etc.. other women face, so when you see another woman fall you shouldn't be able to simply Step Over her without feeling bad. Let's make picking up a woman who has fallen Normal PLEASE!!!

Today is Equal Pay Day, a symbol for the number of extra days, on average, women have to work to catch up to what men were paid the year before. 😥
*Black women until August 3rd to catch up
*Native American women until September 8th to catch up
*Latina women until October 21st
This is why Women Healing Women Inc. will never throw the towel in on this fight ever!!

Besides an annual check-up, nobody goes to the doctor and he/she is not sick, recognizes something is not right their body, etc.. I refuse to believe anybody wants to walk around life hurting instead of healing, but many do simply because they have not acknowledged their hurt.
