Website: allaboutcatsrescue.org We have cats at the Roswell PetSmart location that have been saved from living outdoors, from high kill shelters, and from families that can no longer care for them. Adoption events are held every Saturday at the Roswell PetSmart from 1

pm to 5pm. Additional adoption times can be made by appointment only. Our cats at the Roswell PetSmart can be viewed any day of the week but if you would like to meet one of our cats, and are considering, please contact us via Facebook messenger, Instagram or our website.

Today we celebrate International Cat Day, a day designed to unite cat lovers across the world, celebrate cats as companions, and learn about ways to help and protect them. With an estimated 600 million cats being kept as pets worldwide, cats are one of the most popular pets in many countries.

With so many homeless cats and kittens waiting to find their new family, it is always a good decision to choose to adopt a rescue cat like Shem featured here.

There are many great ways you can help our organization celebrate our great love of cats on International Cat Day:
🐾Adopt a cat or kitten from our rescue. Discover why orange cats are special!
🏠Foster if you are not able to adopt. We cover medical expenses and supplies for our cats until adoption.
👫Volunteer your time and skills. We need fosters, cat room cleaners, fundraisers, and transporters.

Linty wanted to stop by and remind everyone that Clear the Shelters is here and she is more than ready to find her forever family! 💙🐾

This sweet girl is known for carrying her favorite toys and little treasures proudly around the house. When she’s not showing off her latest prize, she’s busy looking for cuddles, kisses, and a warm lap to curl up in. Every toy she carries is practice for the day she carries her heart into her forever home.

Linty also wanted us to mention that there are lots of other wonderful cats and kittens hoping to meet their families this weekend too, although she’s convinced she’s the cutest one! Could Linty be the one you’ve been waiting for?!

Everyone’s favorite hard-working and all-around-good-guy, Hulk, is here to honor “Work Like a Dog Day” by putting in the time to help us motivate people to do their part to Clear The Shelters this month. That’s right, it is time for the annual Clear the Shelter campaign and we need your help to clear the shelters! Whether you can adopt, foster, volunteer, spread the word, or donate to our fund (link in bio and comments) your efforts will go a long way to helping Hulk here and all our other cute little kittens and cats find that special furrever home!

Who else is working like a dog in honor of this special holiday? When you finish all your hard work today, just imagine how much fun we will have at the adoption event on Saturday, August 8 from 1 - 5 PM in the cat adoption room inside the Roswell PetSmart. Please stop by the cat room to meet Hulk and all his feline friends! Additional adoption times can be made by appointment only. Our girl, Olive, wanted to be the first in line to help bring awareness to our Clear the Shelters Campaign! As you may be aware, NBCUniversal/Hill’s/Greater Good Charities are teaming up to help promote an adoption and donation campaign aimed to help the many pet rescues across the nation (including ours!). So while they draw attention to the needs of the homeless pets that you can adopt, Olive wants to draw your attention to her and the other wonderful kitties in our rescue.

While Olive may not be entirely comfortable at the shelter inside PetSmart, rest assured she is a loving petite little kitty who will make a wonderful addition to your family!

Please donate to our Clear the Shelter Fund from 8/1/26 – 8/31/26. Our expenses have continued to climb over the summer so we need contributions to help with medical expenses, including vaccines, spay/neuter surgeries, dental procedures, x-rays, bloodwork, medications, supplies, and other additional medical costs needed to get our cats ready for their new home.

It took only a few seconds for everything to change. Just weeks old, this little kitten came within seconds of losing his life when a hawk swooped down and tried to carry him away.

Thankfully, a Good Samaritan witnessed the attack, scared the hawk away, and rushed the badly injured kitten to a nearby emergency veterinary hospital. Bruised, frightened, and covered with wounds, he desperately needed help.

The veterinary team stabilized him and called All About Cats Rescue asking if we could take him.

Without hesitation... We said "yes."

At first, the veterinarians feared he couldn't see. Then, after several days of care, something incredible happened - his vision slowly began to return.

It seemed only fitting that we would name him Hawkeye.

Today, Hawkeye is recovered and discovering what it means to be safe and loved.

His story is also an important reminder that the outdoors can be an incredibly dangerous place for cats. Hawks, cars, predators, disease, and countless other dangers can change everything.
This story has heroes at every step: a bystander who refused to walk away, a veterinary team that fought for a tiny life, and a rescue that simply said "yes."

We want to thank everyone who stopped by the adoption center during PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week that made our week so exciting and rewarding. We are proud to report that 17 lucky kitties found their furrever homes! There were so many great adoptions and so many smiling happy faces! We also enjoy seeing former adopters who return to adopt another cat from our rescue! Here are some of our lucky kitties who found loving furrever homes. They all look excited to start a great new life with their new families! Congratulations and Happy Tails to all!

Billie Jean is moon walking straight into PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week (July 20 through July 26)! She knows that with all the national attention being paid to the need to adopt, this beautiful tortoise girl could be your love! Billie Jean has it on good authority that the purrfect home for her and so many of her feline furriends is out there!

PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week is a great time to come and meet our available cats and kittens! We will hold an adoption event on Saturday, July 25th from 1-5 PM in the Adoption Center inside the Roswell PetSmart. Our cat, Julius, wants everyone to join him in celebrating Friday night! Our handsome boy knows that Caturday is here! It is his very favorite day! And he also hopes that you will come out to our adoption event tomorrow at PetSmart, because he knows that it is the bomb! Just look at that face. Julius knows that every adoption starts with a simple visit, a quick hello, and sometimes a little bit of magic. Whether you’re looking for a playful kitten, a loyal companion, or your new best friend, we’d love to help you find your perfect match.

And yes, we know, Julius, that adoption events at where it is at. So many cats and kittens find their new furrever homes! And he wants to be sure that you are here because there is nothing more important this weekend.
