The flame stays bright because people in our community choose to support it.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, New Mexico Senior Olympics fundraises each year to help continue programs that create opportunities for competition, recreation, fitness, and connection throughout the state.

Becoming a Friend of Senior Olympics is one way to help strengthen those opportunities for today's athletes and those who will join us in the years ahead.

Join us Saturday, October 24, for a FREE Sustained Athlete Fitness Exam (SAFE)! Get a 30-minute fitness screening with physical therapists, PTAs, and students assessing your strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness.

For some Senior Games athletes, competing close to home is only the beginning.

The 2027 National Senior Games will take place June 30–July 11, 2027, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, giving qualified athletes another opportunity to challenge themselves, reconnect with friends, meet competitors from across the country, and keep pursuing their goals.

Registration opens in October, so if Tulsa is part of your next goal, now is the time to start planning for the experience ahead.

Come out and join New Mexico Senior Olympics for an afternoon of fun at the Eastern New Mexico State Fair!

🎟️ FREE admission and parking for seniors!

Enjoy health information, a cake walk, hot dogs, fun games, and giveaways! Flu shots will also be offered by Walmart Pharmacy.

Ready to get back on the court?

The NMSO 3-on-3 Basketball Team Tournament is coming to Santa Fe November 6–8, bringing friendly but exciting competition for adults 50+ during a National Qualifying Year.

The NMSO experience extends beyond the competition itself. A recent competitor who participated in both 8-ball pool and cycling praised the Games' organization, signage, and overall experience, and credited NMSO with inspiring them to pursue competition in Tulsa.
