Fall is underway at First Tee of Southeastern New Mexico! We kicked off our fall session at Lovington Country Club and our First Tee players met their coaches, were introduced to our Core Values, and learned about the different golf clubs they’ll be using throughout the session.

Players also discussed the importance of working together. While golf is often considered an individual sport, teamwork, encouragement, and supporting one another are an important part of the game—and life!
The group focused on respect—for the golf course, their equipment, their friends, and their coaches—as well as responsibility and the important role it plays in keeping everyone safe on and around the course. We’re excited for a great fall of learning, growing, and golfing at Lovington Country Club!

While Mother Nature presented many interesting challenges over the first two weeks in Roswell, including class indoors three days because of lightning ⚡ we
didn’t let that stop the fun! Our golfers kept practicing their putting skills and enjoyed some friendly putting tournaments ⛳️🏆 among other fun games and golf lessons. Throughout the opening weeks, we worked on putting, chipping, and full swings all the while learning to keep trying, stay positive, and encourage one another along the way. Off to an amazing session at First Tee-Southeastern New Mexico!!!❤️💛⛳️💛❤️
