June is CMV Awareness Month. 💜 “Awareness is the first step toward prevention.”

Today, we stand with our CMV warriors, Michelle and Indya, and families around the world participating in the campaign. Congenital CMV is the most common infectious cause of birth defects, yet many people have never heard of it.

By writing “StopCMV” on our palms, we help spread awareness, encourage education, and support the fight to protect future generations.

Join us in raising awareness and honoring the strength of those impacted by CMV. Together, we can make a difference. 💜

🎨 Meet Caroline! 🎨

Since joining Great Prospects in November 2024, Caroline Hamner has brought creativity, encouragement, and therapeutic support to our participants through Art Therapy.

As our Art Therapist, Caroline helps participants build skills, express themselves, and gain confidence through engaging art projects tailored to meet their abilities and goals. Whether exploring new techniques, strengthening fine motor skills, or simply enjoying the creative process, participants thrive under Caroline’s guidance.

We are grateful for Caroline's dedication, compassion, and the joy she brings to our program each week. Thank you, Caroline, for helping our participants discover their creativity and celebrate their unique talents through art! ❤️🎨

Spring Trip ‘26 was a blast! ☀️⛳🎮🍕 We had an amazing time enjoying mini golf, arcade games, and pizza for lunch with the best crew around. So many laughs, memories, and moments together. You belong here! 💙

🧘‍♀️ Adaptive Yoga with Jackie 🧘‍♂️

Since joining Great Prospects in 2021, Jackie Reckson has brought positivity, determination, and joy to our community. Through adaptive yoga, Jackie continues to build strength, flexibility, confidence, and mindfulness in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Adaptive yoga helps participants connect movement with relaxation while celebrating each person’s unique abilities. We love seeing Jackie’s smile, focus, and growth during each session!

At Great Prospects, we believe wellness activities like adaptive yoga create opportunities for independence, self-expression, and community connection for neurodiverse adults.

Friday Funday was a blast! 🧪🚀 We explored the amazing Fernbank Science Center and topped it off with a delicious lunch at Zaxbys 🍗💙 Huge shoutout to the Johnson Ferry team for the always awesome service!
