Let’s come out strong as we Aim To Stop Hazing!

Anyone who has seen the news this week can see, once again, just how serious hazing continues to be in our college culture. From the sentencing following the death of a pledge at NAU to 13 arrests connected to a drug trafficking ring involving pledges at Penn State, the message is clear: the culture needs to change.

Join us this Sunday, have some fun, and help us continue the fight to stop hazing. ❤️

As students head back to college campuses across the country, these numbers are an important reminder that hazing is still happening and transparency matters. Georgia and Alabama alone reported 36 incidents in the past year, and many campuses have yet to report.

Parents, students, friends, teammates: know the signs, ask the questions, and speak up. A new school year should be about finding your community, not risking your safety to be part of one.

As students head back to school, it’s important for both students and parents to know the signs of hazing. 💜

Changes in behavior, unexplained injuries, excessive exhaustion, isolation, secrecy around group activities, or sudden pressure to participate in something uncomfortable can all be reasons to pay closer attention.

Hazing isn’t always obvious, and it isn’t “just part of joining.” Know the signs. Ask questions. Speak up. And look out for one another.

Education and awareness can save lives. Learn more at maxgruverfoundation.com.

Summer fraternity recruitment is already underway, and as shown in image.png, the race is on to recruit incoming freshmen before they even set foot on campus. Before accepting a bid, it’s important to do your homework!

Use as a resource to research organizations, ask questions, and better understand the risks associated with early recruitment. An informed decision today can have a lasting impact on your college experience. 🫶
