Chaves County Veterans honors the memory of deceased Veterans by:
* generating necessary funds for opening and closing cost of graveside and niches in the General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetary for all American military members
*utilizing volunteerism in a variety of fund-raising events and activities in order to facilitate burial needs
*honoring Veterans sacrifices by providing essential needs
* focusing on causes and solutions to current veteran concerns and conditions, especially at end-of-life needs
* providing information, data, illustrations and instructive tools to promote public awareness, respect and compassion for all service member sacrifices
*promoting patriotism by sharing inspiring veterans' stories, embracing each military member, both active and retired, thus promoting appreciation for all levels of military service

Chaves County Veterans Fall Dance is coming up. The date is October 25th, Hobson Hall at ENMSF on Southeast Main St in Roswell. If you haven't purchased your table or tickets, please contact 575.973.7733. We would love to have you join us in helping our veterans who served our country and each of us.

We are asking if anyone is or knows of a photographer that would volunteer their time to our Veterans by attending our Winter Gala to provide pictures of attendees. You do not have to print anything, we will post them on this page for them to print. Our regular photographer had some physical problems arise and could not make it this year. Your time would greatly be appreciated by not only the Veterans, but all who are involved. Thank you. You can reply on this page.

We have tables left for the 2025 Winter Gala on February 1st. All funds raised go to support our veterans in burials and needs they may have. All decor and time invested is on a donated basis.
