Come join Roswell NM VFW Post 12184 at Texas Roadhouse on Wednesday, May 27th from 5-10 pm for our monthly Dobe to Donate event. If you inform your server that you are there to support your local VFW we get a portion of your bill. There is no addition charge to you. As always, we look forward to seeing you there, and encourage potential members to come meet us.

On this Memorial Day, we gathered at the General Douglas L McBride Veterans Cemetary to reflect on the meaning of the day. It is a day of remembrance for those who died in defense of our nation. We were honored to attend, and as always the American Legion Post 28 and Chaves County Veterans had the ceremony well organized.
Attached are a few photos of guest speakers and singers. They all did an phenomenal job and made their respect for the Fallen plainly obvious.
In remembrance of this day, we've attached photos of the memorial wall in downtown Roswell, showing the names of our local veterans who did not return from war.
Lest we forget.

Come join VFW Post 12184 at South Lawn Cemetery at 7am on Saturday May
23rd to help place flags on Veteran's graves. We also will be at the General Douglas McBride Veterans Cemetary on Monday, the 25th of May to observe Memorial day. 0930 start time on tbe 25th. Any veterans, family members or the general public is welcome to attend these events.

Roswell VFW Post 12184 is having a cookout for members and eligible veterans on June 6th at our Post Home. The address is 403 E Albuquerque Street, and we will begin at 430 pm. If you or a family member is a veteran who served in combat , please come by and meet us. We are always welcoming of veterans and hope to see you there!!
