It is with deep sadness that Moravan Lodge "The Bohemian Hall" No. 128 shares the passing of our President and long-time member, Bobby Dolezilek.

Bobby was an integral member of our lodge — a proud guardian of Czech heritage, a tireless servant of his community, and a man who never met a stranger. His love for polka, his infectious humor and his unwavering dedication to everything he touched will leave a lasting mark on all of us.

He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.

The Spring Czech Dance & May Day Celebration is just a few days away! We look forward to hosting the community and enjoying a traditional Czech meal and live music!

🌷 "Vítáme Vás!" — Welcome, USD 321 students!

We're so excited to host the first Czech History Day at Moravan Lodge #128 in Rossville on Friday, May 1st!

3rd and 4th graders will step back in time to explore Czech heritage — weaving around the Maypole, making May Day baskets, learning the story of our Czech flag, playing Hookbruc ring toss and decorating Czech-inspired cookies (made with a Kansas Wheat Commission wheat sugar cookie recipe in partnership with Rossville HS FCCLA & Erin Miller!).

The Moravan Lodge has stood since 1907 as a gathering place for community, music, food and Polka, and we can't wait to share that spirit with the next generation.

The spring dance prep is in full swing!

This week, we did a test run of the dinner, and we must say, it is pretty tasty!

This year the menu is:
Meal Special – $7
Pulled Pork Sandwich with Pickle Slice
Bramboračka (Czech Potato Soup)
Bottle of Water

Or Mix & Match:
Pulled Pork Sandwich — $4
Bramboračka (Czech Potato Soup) — $3
Bag of Potato Chips — $0.50
Slice of Pie — $3
Kolache — $2 each

We can't wait to see you on May 2nd for the dance and May Day celebration.
