"Heck yeah, I’ll work on the field!" 🎤

That was Ron Onley’s response when CBS needed a utility tech at the Air Force Academy. Now, he’s a key part of the crew making sure your game day audio is crystal clear.

Being an IBEW utility means:

💪 Heavy lifting on set day and tear-down.

🎯 Positioning parabolic mics to catch that perfect sideline audio.

🏃‍♂️ Dodging NFL cameramen, coaches, and trainers in the heat of the game.

It’s physical, it’s busy, and as Ron says, "that’s the fun part." When you hear the crunch of a tackle or the quarterback’s cadence, know that Ron and his crew are working their tails off to make it happen.

Protect yourself. Protect your brothers. 🛠️✊ Real job site safety isn't passive—it’s actively addressing hazards before tragedy hits. Being involved on the safety committee means making sure every single worker gets home safe every single night.

Drop a ⚡️ if your local takes safety seriously!

Leaving non-union work for the union changed everything! From contractor-funded retirement to better pay, the biggest win is work-life balance—like having 5 years to coach my son's hockey team and never missing a game. 🏒🛠️
