John Frederick Weaver (1847–1926) was born and raised in Roseville and played a significant role in the community throughout his life. His many occupations included serving as postmaster, operating a general merchandise store, and founding Roseville Pottery. He and his wife, Nancy, raised ten children and owned a home on Main Street.
The property, legally described as Partial Lots 24 and 25, is located at 11 N. Main Street. While I was unable to locate any historic photographs of the house, I have included a photo taken in 2022 from the Muskingum County Auditor’s Real Estate Property Search.
