VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We are building a veterans retreat in Almont, Michigan. Volunteers needed to help us clear the land to prep it for the cabin kits.

If you have tools, bring them : ) Walk on back to the back of the property by the river and you will see us working on the other side.

This is his first time at the Veterans Thrift Store, so our Founder, Sandy McNabb Bower, is giving giving him a tour of the upstairs Man Cave. A little sneak peek of behind the scenes too 😊

The beautiful Water Wheel being assembled at the historic 200 year old Mill in Almont, MI - the Mill Market

We tried our hardest to save the original water wheel, but made the decision to have an exact replica built by the absolutely amazing Amish. They exceeded our expectations, and we cannot wait for you to see it in person when we open to the public.

We talk about the facinating history of the Mill and the water wheel in this video.

They do an amazing job putting this together every year. It truly makes an incredible impact on our mission. We are so grateful for every year of the continued love and support! 🇺🇲
