Vets Returning Home Vets Returning Home is a Michigan registered nonprofit supporting homeless veterans in crisis. Vets Returning home receives NO government funding.

The goal of Vets Returning Home is simple: to end chronic homelessness among veterans in our communities. Our mission is complex, requiring more than putting a roof over the veterans’ heads. It requires an approach that address the “total veteran” and his needs and making sure they succeed after they are transitioned. We are a volunteer operated 11,000 square foot facility with 43 beds and commerc

ial kitchen. 6 of the 43 beds are dedicated to females only. We provide a stable and sober living environment to veterans in crisis. Onsite services including employment readiness training, aid with job placement, disability benefit connection, legal support and life skills training. Community support both physical and financial has been vital to our ability to continue our mission. We have successfully transitioned on average 250 veterans a year back into society as a fully functioning community member.

A HUGE heartfelt thank you and shoutout to Shawarma Aroma in Fraser on Groesbeck for providing dinner for our veterans at Vets Returning Home. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone enjoyed it! They said a prayer before sending it off which was so awesome. We truly appreciate the continued love and support! ❤️🇺🇲

Vets Returning Home is having a 2 day Estate Sale in Imlay City June 18th & 19th! We are so blessed with LOTS of amazing donated inventory, and nowhere to store it.

Shopping here supports our homeless veterans in crisis at Vets Returning Home.

Please come out for an awesome time shopping at our donation center, known as the historic "Grainery"! We will be restocking before every sale. The garage will be open where we will have furniture for sale as well. Updated pictures will be uploaded soon.
