Are you a Kennedy Middle School or Lake Shore High School student (Grades 6–12) looking for a new sport? Join the Lake Shore Trap Team this fall!

No experience is necessary—we’ll teach you everything you need to know. Trap is one of the fastest-growing high school sports in the country and is also an Olympic sport!

🟠 Open to students in Grades 6–12

Lake Shore Trap Team Takes Aim at the USA Clay Target League National Championship

The Lake Shore Trap Team has arrived in Mason, Michigan, to compete against some of the nation's top student-athletes at the 2026 USA High School Clay Target League National Championship. More than 3,000 competitors from across the country have gathered for this premier event, making it the largest national competition of its kind. The championship brings together the best teams and individual shooters from across the United States for several days of elite competition. (USA High School Clay Target League)

Qualifying for the National Championship is an accomplishment in itself and reflects the dedication, discipline, and hard work these athletes have demonstrated throughout the season. Their commitment to safety, sportsmanship, and marksmanship has earned them the opportunity to represent Lake Shore on the national stage.
