Roseville Better Gardens Club

Roseville Better Gardens Club Established in 1928, the Roseville Better Gardens Club is a non-profit educational organization which promotes and creates interest in gardening.

The President's 2015 - 2016 theme is "Blooming Flowers & Friendships"

"Sharing the Miracles of our Garden." Celebrating 89 years in 2017, the Club currently has 49 members. The Club is one of 10 clubs in the Golden Foothills District and it is a member of the California State Garden Clubs Inc and the National Garden Clubs Inc. The Club's community service projects include the Myo Wa En Japanese Garden in Granite Bay, food banks, and educational and restorative projects (Maidu Park Korean War Memorial rose garden, Penny Pines).

General information

The Club meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month from September through May (Installation meeting held offsite in June). Meetings held at the Maidu Community Center at 1550 Maidu Drive in Roseville. Maidu Drive is off of Rocky Ridge between Douglas Boulevard and Cirby Way. Doors open at 12:30. Meetings are from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and include a garden related speaker, presentation, or workshop and a club business meeting. The club also schedules a monthly tour during the month to a local garden, farm, or facility involving horticulture.
