Over the past week, participated in a specialized training drill at one of our local facilities.

Members assigned to our Rescue Task Force receive specialized training and have access to the equipment necessary to respond to a wide range of complex technical rescue incidents. While emergencies such as trench rescues occur infrequently, they present significant risks and require a high level of training, coordination, and technical proficiency.

Hands-on training ensures our members to prepare, remain confident, and make them capable of responding safely and effectively when these challenging incidents occur.

We are proud of our members’ continued commitment to training and proud to provide this specialized level of service to our community.

are dedicated to providing the highest level of service to our community, no matter the emergency.

An important part of that service is providing Advanced Life Support (ALS) care. Our members are trained to perform a wide range of advanced medical interventions, including IV therapy and fluid administration, pain management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, life-saving cardiac interventions, advanced airway management, and much more.

Becoming a paramedic requires extensive education, hands-on clinical experience, and rigorous testing. Our members complete an accredited paramedic program and must meet national, state, and regional certification and accreditation requirements before providing this advanced level of care in our community.

But the training does not stop after certification. Our members routinely participate in continuing education and hands-on training to maintain proficiency in complex medical skills while staying current with evolving protocols, treatments, and best practices in emergency medicine.

We are proud of the commitment our members demonstrate every day and proud to provide our community with highly trained providers who are ready to deliver advanced, life-saving care when it matters most.

While the recent heat wave has continued across our region, have been taking advantage of the cooler morning hours to stay focused on training and preparedness.

Whether training within their response areas or at the training center, our members continually work to sharpen their skills, expand their knowledge, and strengthen their readiness both on the training ground and in the classroom.

Training is a critical part of what we do. It ensures that when the tones drop and our community calls for help, our firefighters are prepared to respond safely, efficiently, and at the highest level.

We are proud of the dedication and professionalism our members demonstrate each day, whether they are training for the next call or answering it.

are currently deployed to the Gann Fire in Calaveras County.

While assigned to the fire, our members have been hard at work protecting lives and property, including some of the smallest, four-legged members of the community.

This image is a powerful reminder of the impact our firefighters make every day. Whether responding here at home in Roseville or assisting a community hundreds of miles away, our members remain committed to helping others when they need it most.

Throughout California’s wildfire season, our firefighters remain ready to deploy anywhere in the state at a moment’s notice while continuing to ensure our own community remains protected.

These deployments keep our members away from home. We also want to recognize the families behind our firefighters, who make sacrifices of their own while their loved ones are away serving communities across the state.

We are proud of our members for answering the call, proud to support communities throughout California during their time of need, and grateful for the opportunity to represent Roseville with professionalism and compassion wherever we are called to serve.

Why Do We Fill the Boot?

The answer is simple: It’s for the Families!

Last week, several of traveled to Portola to join the Muscular Dystrophy Association for its annual Summer Camp. This special week provides children living with neuromuscular diseases the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable camp experience filled with games, activities, friendship, and lifelong memories.

From sharing laughs with campers to volunteering and getting pied in the face by the campers, it was a powerful reminder of the direct impact our Fill the Boot campaign has on children and families affected by neuromuscular diseases.

As an IAFF Local, we are proud of our longstanding partnership with the MDA and honored to support its mission of empowering individuals and families living with neuromuscular diseases. Opportunities like Firefighter Day at MDA Summer Camp allow us to see firsthand how the generosity of our community makes a meaningful difference.

The next time you see us out Filling the Boot, we hope you’ll consider making a donation. Every contribution helps provide life-changing programs, services, and experiences for families facing neuromuscular diseases.

Every day, our members respond to some of the most challenging and stressful emergencies in our community. No matter the situation, they remain calm under pressure while delivering the highest level of service.

Earlier this week, Chris Anaya, Joe Benerakis, and Daniel Helms were recognized by department leadership with a Field Save Award for their exceptional actions during a medical response that resulted in a life being saved.

This recognition reflects the professionalism, dedication, and commitment our members bring to every call. Their actions are a testament to the countless hours of training and unwavering commitment to serving our community with excellence.

We are honored to serve our community and are equally grateful for the continued support of our department leadership in recognizing the outstanding work of our members.

Congratulations Engine 8 B-Shift on this well-deserved recognition. We are proud of you!

Yesterday, were proud to sponsor and participate in the 6th Annual Cameron Landon Memorial Golf Tournament.

This outstanding event provides a great opportunity for our members to come together while supporting an incredible cause. Proceeds from the tournament benefit several military, veteran, and first responder nonprofit organizations that continue to make a meaningful impact in our communities.

Cameron Landon was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a Roseville Police Officer who dedicated his life to serving both his country and his community. It is an honor to support this event each year and to help preserve his legacy of service and sacrifice.

Please join us in congratulating Trevor Hartman on his well earned promotion to Fire Captain.

Throughout his career, Trevor has been a mentor to members of our department, both as a firefighter and as an engineer. His leadership and commitment to developing those around him have made a lasting impact, and we’re excited to see him step into this new role as Fire Captain.

In addition to serving our community as a Captain, Trevor also serves as President of Roseville Firefighters Local 1592, where he continues to advocate for our members and the residents we proudly serve.

Just before the weekend, we had the honor of welcoming Trevor’s family to his assigned station, Station 2, to pin his captain’s badge. This fire service tradition recognizes that behind every firefighter is a family whose support and sacrifice make our service to the community possible.

Congratulations, Captain Hartman, on this outstanding achievement.

Earlier this month, responded to a house fire in District 2.

Our members initiated an aggressive fire attack while also protecting nearby exposures. Thanks to training, teamwork, and professionalism, our members were able to bring the incident under control.

This response is a direct result of the countless hours your firefighters dedicate to training. Every day and every week, our members sharpen and maintain the skills necessary to perform at the highest level, because when every second counts and lives and property are at risk, preparation makes all the difference.

We are honored to serve our Roseville community and are committed to providing the exceptional service our residents expect and deserve.

ROSEVILLE FIRE CADETS WANTED

Every firefighter starts somewhere—and we’re proud to help create that opportunity right here in our community.

For the past several months, have worked alongside the Roseville Fire Department to build something amazing: a Cadet Program designed to give motivated young adults an inside look at one of the most rewarding careers there is.

If you’re 16–21 years old and interested in the fire service or EMS, this is your chance to:

🔥 Train with career firefighters
💪 Build confidence, discipline, and leadership
🚑 Learn fire and EMS fundamentals
🤝 Be mentored by professionals who do the job every day
🚒 Take the first step toward a career in public safety

This program is about more than learning firefighter skills, it’s about developing future leaders who are committed to serving something bigger than themselves.

We’re incredibly proud of the work our members have put into making this program a reality, and we can’t wait to meet the next generation of firefighters.

📍 Applications are OPEN. Check the link in the bio of Roseville Fire Department

Tag someone between 16–21 who would be a great fit! 👇
