What an amazing week for The Crooksville-Roseville Pottery Festival! We added some spectacular pieces to the collection, including the huge blue floor vase pictured.
Stay tuned for some exciting announcements from both sides of our venture.
Quite a few mind-blowing partnerships and opportunities were discussed.

You want museum worthy? Check these beautiful pieces of history! The last time these pieces saw use, they were making and transporting McCoy pottery.
After nearly 4 decades in storage, these will be part of our museum collection.

We started our journey about 10 years ago. Thousands of pieces of McCoy pottery have passed through this house in that time.
Some stayed, some didn't. Quite a few are still here.

File this one under "you never know"
As collectors we dream of finding something that even the most seasoned fellows haven't seen.
We here at McCoy Pottery - The Museum Collection have had this dream come true more than once or twice.

This piece is a recent find. Thought to be an unproduced piece, this design was previously unknown to collectors. Clearly marked McCoy, in a fashion similar to known pieces of the era, and of similar design to a very well known and documented pieces as shown in the last picture.

This is why we spend HOURS pouring over references, searching online listings, hunting through antique malls, and cherishing our friends who have more knowledge.

A couple fun new additions. The Zuniart is only the second squeeze bag decorated piece we have kept in 10 years... both in the last 5 weeks.
It's going to be a lot of fun rebuilding our collection after the great purge!!!
