This past 9/11 our Honor Guard participated in the memorial ceremony in Mount Clemens. We want to recognize everyone that gave the ultimate sacrifice 25 years ago and the families that were affected by this tragic day in our history.

This day was also special to our department as we placed a brick for one of our own, Officer Jeremy France.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our own – Officer Jeremy France.

All who knew him or worked with him, felt his infectious personality, his unforgettable laughter, and his all-around good-hearted nature. He was a friend to all, a best friend to others and authentic in every way.

Jeremy’s bright star was extinguished far too soon. His quirkiness and easy-going personality may never be duplicated, and he brought laughter and joy to everyone around him.

Jeremy was dedicated to his profession and proudly served this community for 13 years. He was a true professional in every sense of the word.

Our prayers, condolences and unwavering support go out to his family and loved ones.

Jeremy… We love you and will miss you more than you could ever know.

Rest easy, Brother – May God watch over you and may you forever be at eternal peace.
