This summer, we are pleased to highlight our scholarship recipients from the Lamar CISD Class of 2026. Over the next couple of weeks, we will continue to feature graduating seniors who have received scholarships.

Our foundation awards scholarships to deserving students who consistently strive to achieve excellence both in and out of the classroom. LEAF works to supplement the resources they need to enhance their education.

Join us in congratulating this week’s features, Adelaide Williford and Bryson Caesar!

Adelaide Williford, a recipient of the Banfield Memorial Scholarship, is heading to the University of Texas at Austin this fall and Bryson Caesar, a recipient of the LEAF CTE Excellence Scholarship, is heading to the Lonestar College System this fall.

From Foster High School, both students will continue to achieve excellence as they further their education.

Thank you to all the donor the Bandfield Family and the Lamar Educational Awards Foundation who have made this possible.

Continue to shine bright beyond Lamar CISD!

Did you know?

Starting a new classroom can be expensive. That's why LEAF provides classroom stipends to new Lamar CISD educators, helping them purchase supplies and resources for their students.

Last school year, LEAF supported 83 new teachers with $100 classroom funds, helping them start the school year prepared and ready to make an impact.

Supporting educators means supporting student success.

Great events don't happen without great partners.

Every year, our event sponsors help make New Staff Stampede a memorable welcome for Lamar CISD 's newest educators. Their support helps us celebrate, encourage, and invest in the teachers and staff who will make a difference in our students' lives.

When local businesses and organizations partner with LEAF, they're helping strengthen our schools and community.

Welcome to LEAF, Daisy & Bhuvi!

We are thrilled to welcome Daisy, a rising junior majoring in Accounting, and Bhuvi, a rising sophomore majoring in Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin, as our LEAF Summer Interns!

Over the next few months, they will gain hands-on experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and help advance our mission of supporting students and educators throughout Lamar CISD.

We are excited to invest in their professional growth and look forward to seeing the impact they make, the skills they develop, and the success they achieve this summer.
